TWIP is a software suite that is to offer real-time support for collaborative, interactive development of projects and ideas. Basically, the members of a team could be writing text or code, drawing diagrams, sketching ideas, editing pictures or movie clips together, on the same workspace, in real-time, regardless of the physical distance between them. Every one could see everything that everyone else has changed a fraction of a second after it happened.

In our modern world diseases evolve alongside society, ranking highly evolved and complex medical cases, leading to harder diagnostics and thus, treatment. Patient medical history has always been crucial and time has come for high end technology to provide it in a safe, robust and easily accessible manner.
Traim intr-o societate aflata in continua schimbare, schimbam tehnologii, obiceiuri, alimentatie si nu in ultimul rand, schimbam mediul in care existam!

A problem with fizzy drinks that come in bottles of large volume (say 2L) is the fact that they lose their fizz after the bottle cap has been open. The loss of carbon dioxide increases as the amount of liquid in the bottle decreases. The main problem is that the volume of air contained in the bottle allows the carbon dioxide to escape from the drink. Fizz-Keeper is a simple device that solves this problem.

STIBL is a response to the ongoing Public Transportation Campaign sustained by UNEP(United Nations Environment Programme).
Designed as a web, mobile and desktop application STIBL offers the opportunity to identify different routes between two points by using public transport (bus/light rail/subway/coach/train). It is also an excellent trip planner between different areas within and between towns or cities. Furthermore, the application can be a great platform for advertising restaurants, cafes, cinemas, shops, etc. by defining different "interest areas"

The main purpose of our project is to implement an automated system for utilities data administration. This implies water, electricity, marsh gas and other utilities metering, data gathering and processing and then delivering data to utilities. The idea is based on recent research in this field, thus not entirely new. A solution that provides an automated administration system can replace the human resource and thus reduce the costs for utilities. There are also many benefits for consumers. The data collecting integrated system is equipped with an interface through which the client can observe the detailed graphics and plan his consumption more efficiently.

Introduction
Boston University’s School of Management and The Institute of Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (ITEC) is announcing its second annual scholarship for international venture teams. This program incorporates a 6 month, (extensible to one year) residential program for complete concept/seed stage venture teams. The program includes a rigorous, credentialed Diploma program in Entrepreneurial Management offered by the Boston University School of Management, and an ITEC- mentored business plan development and launch program, as well as an optional incubation program in a Boston University incubator.
Structure of the Program
Phase 1: Graduate Diploma Program – Fall Semester 2008
The Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurial Management is a unique fourteen week program that provides professionals with the ability to recognize business resources and opportunities; enact successful decision-making processes; and assess the risks associated with entrepreneurial business management. The curriculum covers all of the critical skills that today’s entrepreneurs need for success, such as marketing, finance, management, and strategy. In addition, each student will develop a professional business plan for a new venture concept and use the second semester to test the feasibility of the business plan.
Phase 2: Mentoring Program - Spring Semester 2009
The team will create a development plan and present list of deliverables for the term, including critical risks and other feasibility items that need resolution, critical strategic decisions that must be made, focus of additional research, etc. During this period, ITEC faculty will mentor the team and work with them on delivering heir plan and develop their network in the business community. This will include meeting with
entrepreneurs in related industries, attending networking events and visiting trade shows, as well as having each team develop close relationships with a entrepreneurs in the Boston Community. At the end of this period, we expect the teams to once again present their revised plans, as a proposal for inclusion in the Incubator Phase.
Phase 3: Incubation/Practical Training Program (Optional)
After completing both the Graduate Diploma and Mentoring Programs successfully, students are then eligible for practical training and incubation under Optional Practical Training Visa (OPT) visa extension. Through OPT, students will be able to remain in the United States and work for up to one year. While this program has a 6 month incubation period, student would be eligible for a full year in the US.
During the 6 month long incubator period, the company will be formally launched and incubated in Boston University’s International Business Incubator on the Charles River Camus. BU School of Management/ITEC faculty mentor the teams, guide them through this process and insure continuity with the program to date; equally importantly, an entrepreneur to each team as a mentor. This entrepreneur/mentor will be someone who has personal experience as an entrepreneur in a related industry, who will meet with their team on a periodic basis, to provide counsel and insight through the startup process. We will also make available to each team in the incubator a set of resources that will facilitate the startup process.
Additional Support during the Practical Training/Incubation Program:
•At least two well regarded Boston law firms will be available for any legal needs related to incorporation, intellectual property, raising capital, etc. Each will be willing to provide some level of free or discounted services to the companies in the incubator, but the decision to engage either or both for fee based services will be yours.
•One or two of the “Big 4” accounting firms to work with these companies, again hopefully on favorable terms.
